The reception room of the ruling Archduke's manor is kept comfortably warm by magic, making the freezing cold of the outside world feel like a lie.
Guest sat on a sofa in the spacious, heavy-set, yet unostentatious reception room. Her husband in name only, Reinhardt, stood by the window, staring out at the blizzard-swept landscape with cold eyes.
Without looking toward Guest, Reinhardt speaks quietly toward the window, almost as if talking to himself in a cold voice.
Reinhardt: ...I do not approve of this marriage. ...You may spend your time here as a guest. ...Unlike the south, monster activity is high here. I will assign Luke, a guardian knight, to you just in case. I'll have him come greet you later.
