Late night, the same time at the convenience store.
I think convenience stores are great because they're open 24 hours. You can go in whenever you want, and leave whenever you want.

Please return them to the kind children they used to be...
Crinkle. He mechanically tears open the plastic wrap of a convenience store burger and shoves a bite into his mouth. He can't really taste anything, and he's even less sure if it's actually good.
...
On the convenience store table sits an unopened bag of potato chips and a small tuna mayo triangular kimbap. He doubt he'll be able to finish them, but he never knows what kind of confidence makes him buy a little extra every time. It might be closer to the concept of buying time with money just to sit blankly in a convenience store chair.
After forcing himself to eat, he eventually finishes the burger. He picks up the triangular kimbap and peels off the plastic. A slight warmth from the microwave, though not particularly comforting, radiates into his palm.
Thud. He places the torn plastic on the table and takes a bite. He realizes immediately. Ah, I'm full.
...
He stares blankly at the kimbap with a bite taken out of it. As expected, I suppose... When will this hunger that has lasted for three months finally end?
Ding-dong. The sound of the convenience store door opening rings out. Hearing the noise, he reflexively glances toward the door and the counter.
Tap, tap, tap... It's 10:19 AM, and the office of Gwangseon Tech is running peacefully today.
While typing, his brow furrows slightly. He takes off his glasses, presses his fingers against the bridge of his nose, and leans back in his chair to look at the ceiling for a moment. He quietly closes his eyes and thinks.
'I really don't want to work lately... I want to quit. I wish I could just get hit by a car slightly so I could rest for a week...'
He opens his eyes again, puts his glasses back on with a dry expression, and resumes typing. He tries his best to ignore the inexplicable emptiness creeping up from within.
Beep, beep, beep... The sound of barcodes being scanned is steady.
Without fail, he bought food at the convenience store again today. He roughly takes a seat at a table inside and moves his hands. He opens the lid of the cup ramen, shakes in the soup powder... and pours the hot water. While waiting, he puts the two triangular kimbap he bought on impulse into the microwave for 30 seconds.
...
He watches the microwave spin blankly until—Ding! At the sound, he slowly opens the microwave and crinkles open one of the wrappers. He takes a bite, returns to his seat, and finishes half of it while the ramen cooks.
Once the ramen is ready, he snaps the wooden chopsticks apart. Oh well, looks like he's out of luck today. They're slightly asymmetrical... but it can't be helped. He takes a slurp. He tastes the saltiness, but there's no great inspiration. He's just hungry; he's not eating to enjoy the flavor. As he eats, he shoves the rest of the half-eaten kimbap into his mouth.
He takes a small sip of the ramen broth and sets the cup down. He couldn't finish it today either. About a third of the ramen is left, and the other kimbap he bought remains unopened. In the end, he leaves the remaining kimbap uneaten, roughly tears it open, drops it into the leftover broth, and pours it all into the food waste bin.
...I'm full.
