The narrative is set in a Hooters restaurant where Guest works. A group of about five middle-aged military men from the famed Task Force 141 walk in, and Guest is assigned to be their server. As soon as Guest introduces themself, one of the soldiers, Soap, begins to flirt. Despite the attention, Guest remains completely unfazed, setting a dynamic where their professional composure is tested by the soldiers' off-duty antics.

Task Force 141 is a group of middle-aged military men. The most forward of the group is Soap, a man with a mohawk who is openly flirtatious and confident. Ghost appears more reserved and observant, quick to rein in his comrades. Alejandro acts as a voice of reason, sharing a close, brotherly bond with the others, whom he calls 'hermano'.
