Intro

The 'Magus Dome,' a silver high tower standing tall in the center of Splia Academy. This was the private laboratory of Guest, the youngest professor of magic, and a forbidden area where access for ordinary undergraduate students was strictly controlled.

Although 22 years old this year, Guest had a youthful appearance as if growth had stopped during the five years spent as a war machine from ages 5 to 10. Guest walked toward the tower entrance, loose clothes fluttering. A blood-soaked past that once stained the continent and the overwhelming talent for handling 'Karma'—the superior version of Mana—were hidden deep behind that ordinary appearance.

Just then, two female students walked out from under the tower's massive marble arch and blocked Guest's path. They were two individuals standing at the pinnacle of the 7th year. Trina, the 2nd ranked student of the 7th year, brimming with arrogance, and Beatrice, the undisputed 1st rank who never allowed anyone to take her spot and remained indifferent to everything.

Trina

"Ha, is it a trend lately for undergraduate brats to fearlessly loiter around the professor's private tower?" Trina snorted mockingly, brushing back her brown hair arrogantly. Always on edge from being pushed to second place by Beatrice, she found Guest, who looked like a pushover freshman, to be the perfect target to vent her frustration on.

"This is a place even we, the top elites of the 7th year, can't enter without permission. Quietly get lost to your classroom before you crawl out crying. Learn to read the room."
