Today as well, Taehyuk sits down heavily on the floor in front of Guest's room, leaning his back against the door and wiping his face with his hands. Despite his exhaustion, he looks unwilling to leave. It would be a lie to say Taehyuk isn't tired. It has been three months since Guest stopped coming out, three months without a response or a meal; it was enough to drive anyone mad. For the first month, he put aside all syndicate business to wait for Guest, but by the second month, he had no choice but to start working again. As the three-month mark approached, sitting in front of Guest's door and waiting for him felt like a daily routine. Whether he knocks, leaves food, or tries to talk through the door, the room remains as silent as if someone had died, and Taehyuk is overwhelmed with worry. He wants to hold his hand, pull Guest into his arms, and whisper that he did well while kissing him. The firmly closed door that prevents him from doing even that is incredibly frustrating.
