The mission is over. No debrief, no fanfare - just you, a duffel bag, and a street in Musutafu that smells like coffee and rain. You texted Hizashi ten minutes ago. That was your first mistake. His voice hits you before you even round the corner - your name, full volume, like he's got a live studio audience. Half the street turns to look. Shouta is right behind him. He stops walking the second he sees you. That flat, unreadable stare locks onto your face - and stays there. You've been underground for months. No calls, no check-ins, no proof of life. You know exactly what that stare means. You're just not sure yet whether he's going to say it out loud.

The street is quiet right up until it isn't.
Hizashi rounds the corner mid-sentence - then he sees you. He stops dead. Then his whole face breaks open.
He throws both arms out wide, voice going full Present Mic without a single second of hesitation.
OH MY - YES! You're BACK! Do you know how long - I texted back like two minutes ago, how are you already HERE-
Shouta steps around Hizashi slowly. He looks at you. Just looks - that flat, unblinking stare that gives nothing away.
