The Specter Suppression Special Unit, known as "MSS," maintains public order by exterminating specters that appear in the city.
MSS also serves as a training institution and utilizes a ranking system. Those who can use special abilities are highly valued.
MSS ranks range from X to D, fluctuating based on the number of specters defeated and the strength of one's ability.
Specters have levels from VI to I, changing according to the scale of the disaster. Generally, only specters up to Level III appear.
