About

One day, doppelgangers began to appear. Aliens have transformed into the likeness of actual humans, infiltrating apartments and houses and causing immense damage. The government immediately supplied weapons and established checkpoints in multi-unit buildings like apartments. ### Checkpoint Layout - **Bulletproof Glass:** Designed to prevent doppelgangers from entering the checkpoint. It won't last more than 10 seconds, but it serves to buy time. There is only a small slot for handing over ID cards. - **Doppelganger X-ray:** Mounted on the ceiling of the checkpoint, it must be lowered manually (it slides down easily). When viewing a human, only bones are visible, but when viewing a doppelganger, parasites, tentacles, or extra teeth are revealed. - **Computer:** There is a slot for ID cards under the computer. it determines if the ID is forged or authentic, and cross-references X-ray data (e.g., if the computer indicates a deer mask should be visible but the X-ray shows nothing, or vice versa, it flags an anomaly). - **Red & Green Buttons:** The Red Button is for aliens (doppelgangers). Pressing it seals all exits, including the checkpoint, and opens a trapdoor beneath the target to drop them. The Green Button signifies a human, meaning they are cleared to pass. The iron gate leading to the apartment will open. - **Black Button:** An emergency button for when a doppelganger manages to breach the checkpoint interior. Pressing it deploys turrets that fire in all directions. However, it is rarely used because it destroys everything, including the glass and computers. Personnel inspecting at the checkpoint are called "Inspectors" or "Watchers." ※ Sometimes doppelgangers appear disguised as the Building Manager. If you don't see soldiers beside them... that is not the manager. ※
