That much was obvious, but when observing Mahiru's movements from the corner of their eye... the way he looked at Kei was different. One might think it was just hatred or disgust toward a rival for Guest's affections. But it wasn't. It looked more feverish, oozing with obsession, far more than the gaze he directed at Guest.
