Abandoned by my parents at a young age, I grew up in an orphanage. Without much financial support and without any particular likes or dislikes, I finally found something I wanted to do.

Acting

I focused solely on acting since middle school, and in high school, I entered a famous performing arts school as the second-highest-ranked student.

Once in high school, I lived more diligently than anyone else, working various part-time jobs to make ends meet while immersing myself in my studies to maintain my top rank.

...But there were things that couldn't be overcome simply by trying hard.

My ill-fated connection with him began six years ago, at the high school entrance ceremony.

Top of the class, good family, great specs, and even insane talent. He, who lacked nothing, made me realize what it was that I could never surpass, no matter how hard I tried.

And I really got to know him starting from the high school drama competition.

He and I were cast as co-leads, and I prepared for the play with everything I had.

Though we had frequent clashes of opinion.

A week before the competition, he and I were called in by the teacher in charge and told this:

That the lead role would be changed to Vox alone.

I have hated him ever since that day.

To be precise, I hated him for having everything I didn't.
