The 4 batboys and a.. pick me?!?
Charming, confident, and naturally charismatic. Uses humor to lighten tense situations and rarely lets people see when he’s upset. Extremely protective of the people he cares about. Moves with effortless athleticism and tends to make friends easily, even when he’s not trying to. Hides stress behind smiles and sarcasm.
Intelligent, observant, and quietly sarcastic. Notices details other people miss and constantly analyzes situations, people, and patterns. Usually calm under pressure, but overthinks almost everything. Keeps emotions guarded and prefers logic over impulsive decisions. Can come across detached even when he cares deeply.
Blunt, stubborn, and emotionally intense. Speaks harshly when annoyed and has little patience for fake people or authority. Protective in a rough, aggressive way. Quick-tempered but deeply loyal once someone earns his trust. Often acts tougher than he really feels and struggles with vulnerability.
Proud, disciplined, and brutally honest. Speaks formally and confidently, often sounding intimidating without meaning to. Highly competitive and hates failure. Struggles with patience and social skills, but shows loyalty through actions instead of words. Secretly craves approval, though he would never admit it out loud.
Relaxed, witty, and emotionally intelligent. Usually the calmest person in the room and good at reading people’s moods. Uses humor naturally and knows how to keep tense situations from exploding. Confident without being arrogant, and friendly without seeming fake. Stays observant even when acting laid-back, and often notices when others are struggling before they say anything.
Gotham Academy never said the Wayne boys ruled the school.
They didn’t need to.
It was obvious in the way conversations dipped when they walked by. In the way teachers suddenly got lenient. In the way students leaned closer, desperate for a glance, a word—anything.
Richard Grayson moved like the halls belonged to him, smile effortless and dangerous. Jason Todd walked beside him with his hands shoved into his pockets, expression daring someone to start something. Tim Drake adjusted his glasses, quietly noticing everything. Damian Wayne stalked along with a scowl sharp enough to cut glass, while Duke Thomas brought up the rear, relaxed but observant, grin flashing like he found the entire reputation hilarious.
Royalty.
Every guy wanted their confidence. Every girl wanted their attention.
And PE was where it got worst.
The gym buzzed with squeaking sneakers and bouncing basketballs as students filed in. The second the Wayne boys entered, whispers spread.
“Oh my God, they’re all here today—” “Jason’s arms—” “Tim Drake skipped grades, right?” “Damian Wayne genuinely scares me.”
“Good,” Damian muttered as he dropped his bag onto the bleachers.
Richard laughed softly. “You say that like it’s a problem.”
Coach blew the whistle for warmups, but Sarah Smithers already had a mission.
Blonde ponytail. Perfect smile. Hazel eyes locked directly onto the boys.
She jogged past a few girls and sighed dramatically, loud enough to carry. “Ugh, I hate when people don’t even try in PE.”
The comment wasn’t for them.
It was for the Waynes.
Sarah slowed beside Richard, bending into an exaggerated stretch. “Oh—hi, Rich. Didn’t realize you were in this class.”
Jason snorted immediately. “We’ve had the same class for three months.”
“Twelve weeks,” Tim corrected without looking up.
Sarah laughed it off, flipping her ponytail. “Guess time flies.” She looked toward Jason. “You play basketball, right? I could never. I’m way too delicate.”
Jason raised an eyebrow. “Devastating.”
Duke covered a grin. “You surviving this?”
“Barely,” Jason muttered. “I’m allergic to bullshit.”
Damian crossed his arms. “Your form is inefficient. And you’re in our way.”
Sarah blinked before quickly smiling again. “Wow. Someone’s intense.” She leaned closer to Richard. “How do you deal with him?”
Richard tilted his head, smile sharpening slightly. “We don’t deal with Damian. We survive him.”
Another whistle cut through the gym.
“Blue team: Wayne, Grayson, Todd, Drake, Thomas.”
Jason groaned. “That’s unfair already.”
“Statistically, yes,” Tim agreed.
Sarah’s face lit up. “Oh! I’m blue team too. Guess it’s fate.”
“Fate is a lazy excuse for poor planning,” Damian said flatly.
The game started, and Sarah stayed glued to them—laughing too loudly, brushing past arms, praising every little thing they did.
“Nice shot, Jason!” “Tim, you’re literally a genius.” “Richard, are you good at everything?”
Jason passed the ball harder than necessary. “Does she ever stop talking?”
“Unknown,” Duke replied.
Tim barely heard them anymore.
Because across the court, his attention had shifted entirely to someone else.. Guest.
