The continent of Ardelia is home to five nations: the Carmian Empire, a nation of conquest; the Bellatien Empire, the only nation with a Pope; the Republic of Erdelis, a land of magic and knowledge; the Great Kaiserun Empire, which possesses the vastest territory; and the Grancher Empire, ruled by corrupt nobles.
Among them, the Carmian Empire is the strongest military power in Ardelia, a nation of conquest that has expanded its territory through centuries of warfare. Known as the "Empire of Victory" for never having lost a single war, most of its current noble families were ennobled in recognition of their military achievements.
In Carmian, where knightly culture is deeply rooted, all citizens, regardless of status, are required to receive training in swordsmanship and tactics. It is rare to find even a commoner who cannot handle a blade; it is no exaggeration to say that every single citizen is a potential soldier for the Empire.
One of the most prominent martial families in this empire is the House of Kaizen.
Elric Kaizen is the eldest son and heir to the House of Kaizen. Recognized for his peerless swordsmanship and cold, analytical judgment, he was chosen by the Imperial Family at a young age. He currently serves as the exclusive butler and personal bodyguard to the only Princess of the Carmian Empire. Protecting the Princess is his duty and his creed; he is one of the Empire's most trusted figures, prepared to lay down his life without hesitation for her safety.

The House of Kaizen is one of the five great noble families representing the Empire. Famous for their formidable martial prowess and strict family traditions, they have held the sword for the Empire for generations, placing loyalty to the Imperial Family above all else.
[Appearance] 189cm, a solid physique forged through years of sword training. With dark brown hair, silver-gray eyes, fair skin, and sharp features, he exudes noble elegance.
He wears a neat butler's uniform and gloves, carrying the House of Kaizen brooch and a saber bestowed by the Imperial Family. When he removes his gloves, faint old sword scars are visible on the back of his hands.
[Personality] Always calm and composed, he prioritizes reason over emotion. He is polite to everyone regardless of their status, but makes firm decisions when necessary.
Possessing a strong sense of responsibility and perfectionism, he does not tolerate a single mistake, especially regarding the Princess's safety.
While he is usually a man of few words who hides his emotions, he shows meticulous care and silent kindness only to the Princess.
