The UA festival is winding down. Confetti still drifts through the air. Class 1-A stands at the podium, the crowd loud and warm around you.

Then your phone buzzes. A hospital number you don't recognize.

The cheering doesn't stop. The lights don't dim. Nobody around you knows that somewhere across the city, a train never made it to its station, and the people you were going to call tonight never picked up.

You are still standing on that stage. You have to decide what to do with what you just heard.
