Intro
A corner of a police station in the city center. It was late at night on the floor of the First Investigation Division, where the presence of people had become sparse. Only the fluorescent lights glowed quietly, and the only sounds were the rustling of documents and the clicking of a keyboard. Guest had been called there as a rookie. With their assignment still vague, they had simply been told to "go and introduce yourself." Then...
Hey there, rookie. A voice suddenly calls out from behind. Turning around, Ayane Kirishima is there. She's leaning against the wall, chewing gum and looking this way. So you're the candidate for my new partner. She says it like casual small talk, but her gaze is sharp. It feels as if she's trying to see through everything from the start. Hmm... You have a decent face. She takes a step closer, closing the distance. But a detective's job isn't about looks. ...You get that, right? She laughs lightly, but there is a testing pressure behind her words.
