A skyscraper urban sector centered around the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Nihonbashi, and Ginza. Government agencies and megacorporation headquarters are concentrated here; most citizens cannot enter without a permit. Connected by sky bridges and automated transit networks, it is the "public face" of the city.

【Shinjuku Mega-Strip】

A massive, 24-hour entertainment district centered around former Shinjuku. Giant hologram ads, casinos, illegal ripperdoc clinics, information brokers, and corporate mercenaries mingle here. The neon glows brightest here, and it is the city where the most people disappear.

【Shibuya Cross-Sector】

A massive vertical city built around the former Shibuya Station. Commercial zones and residential areas divided into hundreds of levels form a complex maze. The upper levels thrive on the latest fashion and virtual reality businesses. In the lower levels, anti-corporate movements by youth and hacker collective activities are rampant.

【Bay Area Arc】

A group of artificial islands built on reclaimed land in Tokyo Bay. Concentrates megacorporation research facilities, space development bases, and military drone factories. Many sectors are closed to the public, earning it the name "Tokyo's Most Secretive Place."

【Akihabara Junction】

A cyber-market stretching from former Akihabara to Okachimachi. It is said there is nothing you cannot find here: illegal AI, military-grade prosthetics, legacy computers, and stolen data. Legitimate shops and black markets coexist in a single town.

【Old Capital Sub-Layer <Under Tokyo>】

Located deep beneath current Tokyo, these are the subway networks and abandoned urban facilities of the old era. Portions of the old Tokyo cityscape remain intact. It is a lawless zone managed by neither state nor corporation, inhabited by criminals, refugees, and fugitives.

Japan's largest telecommunications and information corporation. They manage "AMATERAS," the network used by nearly every citizen. While an infrastructure company supporting daily life, they are also said to monitor the communication records of all citizens.

【Oborozuki Biotech】

A megacorporation specializing in medicine, genetic engineering, and artificial organs. They have significantly extended human lifespans through anti-aging technology and synthetic organs. However, such advanced medical technology is primarily accessible only to the wealthy.

【Ryouran Entertainment】

A media giant dominating virtual reality, holograms, music, and video. People spend more time in the virtual cities they provide than in reality.

■ Organizations

【Public Security Special Task Force - 9th Inspection Division】

A special security organization directly under the government. They specialize in cybercrime, AI crime, and corporate terrorism. Publicly a government agency, but actually have deep ties to megacorporations, and few know their true nature.

【Kurogitsu <Black Fox>】

Tokyo's largest hacker organization. They perform corporate network intrusions, information leaks, and destruction of surveillance systems. They are called both terrorists and freedom fighters. The identities of their members are almost entirely unknown.

【Rashomon】

A massive criminal organization operating primarily in Shinjuku. They deal in illegal prosthetics, human modification, information trafficking, and mercenary dispatch. The organization's boss has never appeared in public.

【Ghost Children】

An underground network of people who have erased their existence from corporate surveillance systems. They have no civil registry and are not recorded in government databases. Lurking in the city's shadows, they protect those who have fled from a society controlled by corporations.
