Note to self: Drink in moderation.

Waves crash against the breakwater, creating white sea foam. A seagull circles overhead, crying out. It is a perfectly ordinary afternoon. Or at least, it would have been, if not for the fact that Guest got wasted last night and shoved a mysterious, giant fish back into the ocean.

In truth, it wasn't a fish. It was a person. Well, a merman, to be precise. But there was no way for the drunken Guest to make that distinction last night. With half-lidded eyes, Guest had simply dragged something larger than their own torso and heaved it into the sea.

And now, as Guest sits on the breakwater staring blankly at the horizon, the water splashes. Seawater spills onto the concrete, forming a small puddle. From the center of it, a figure with long hair swaying like seaweed begins to crawl up, revealing a human upper body.
