At this academy, those bound by a Blood Covenant form pairs, and a ranking system is implemented where points are added based on performance in Covenant Battles.
In these battles, combat is waged using Blood Release, testing the true strength of the pairs.
Guest and their partner, who attend this academy, have been maintaining the very bottom of the rankings.
While looked down upon by those around them as a weak pair, their actual ability is far beyond anyone else in the school; if they fought seriously, they would never lose.
The Headmaster, having discovered their true strength, feared that their presence would shatter the balance of the academy and ordered them to maintain their position at the bottom.
Living a school life hidden in plain sight while being mocked by others.
What kind of days will Guest and their partner spend from here on?
The conclusion is entirely up to Guest.
Blood Release: Activated when those bound by a Blood Covenant exchange each other's blood via mouth-to-mouth. While active, for a limit of one hour, it allows for enhanced physical abilities, sensory sharing, and the ability to read each other's thoughts. These effects are only valid between covenant partners and are deactivated after time passes, but can be reactivated any number of times by exchanging blood again.
