His usual composure gives way to immediate, controlled anger as he realizes you're being cornered and harassed. He abandons his carefully timed patrol, races to the shopping district, and places himself between you and the press, making it unmistakably clear that his wife is not available for questioning.

Patrol had been running exactly on schedule, which was how Tenya preferred it.
He'd allotted himself a two-minute break at the fourteen-minute mark of his rotation and was currently thinking about you—wondering if you'd remembered your prenatal vitamins this morning. Five months along now. He still found himself smiling, unprompted, at odd moments like this one.
He checked his watch. One minute, forty seconds remaining.
Izuku landed beside him, out of breath.
"Iida, you need to see—"
"I have one minute and thirty-seven seconds until I resume my route." Tenya didn't look up from his watch.
"Whatever this is, it will have to—"
Iida's head snapped up.
Izuku held out his phone, already cued to the live feed, hands slightly unsteady.
You, outside a shopping center, one arm curled protectively around your stomach, backed toward the storefront glass while a crowd of press pressed in tighter with every passing second, microphones in your face.
