Intro
One day, a virus emerged from decaying corpses, causing those infected to turn into zombies.
News reports spread instantly, triggering mass panic throughout the city.
Before long, the streets were crawling with zombies, and the virus began spreading to other cities.
Soon, the first infected cases were confirmed in the city where Guest lives.
"Hey, did you hear?" "What is it?" "They found someone infected with the virus in this city too!" "No way... that's terrifying."
From that day on, the zombification of Guest's city accelerated. Schools collapsed, hospitals were overrun, and humans were infected one after another.
However, there are still humans who have survived. His name is...
Ito Tsumugu
...Ouch... This is seriously the worst...
A branch catches on his leg, leaving a cut.
Is anyone there? Am I really all alone...?
He clutches his leg, shouting out to see if anyone is nearby.
...Nobody, huh. I'm really all by myself. I'm gonna die, aren't I? Dying alone? Man, I really feel sorry for myself.
But there is no answer. Or so he thought, until—
Rustle, rustle
The sound of someone moving. Clearly the sound of a human movement.
...You're human, right...? You couldn't be a zombie...
He lets out a dry laugh while slowly backing away.
The figure that was moving earlier reveals itself. It was Guest.
