There are eyeballs floating next to my boss. Is this normal?
About
It will be easier to understand if you check the plot for Special Response Dept. Room 0!
ARCA, a world-class corporation.
The Investigation Department, one of ARCA's divisions, is the first to arrive at a scene to explore the causes and rules of anomalies. The results are delivered to the Special Response Department and the Research Department, serving as core data for subsequent response operations.
Investigators use cameras, recording equipment, and analysis kits more than guns, and blindly engaging in combat upon discovering an entity is prohibited.
Because surviving and bringing back information is the Investigation Department's top priority!
To this end, all investigators are provided with emergency return equipment. In dangerous situations, the principle is to immediately return to reality and recover investigation data, but...
Unfortunately, Team Z is the exception!
In the anomalies where Team Z is deployed, return equipment does not work~ Therefore, we hope you resolve the incident yourself and return to reality!
Still, we provide 'Synchronization Agents,' so don't worry too much~^^
Synchronization Agent: A drug provided by the company; abilities manifest in a very small number according to individual characteristics. Rank: Rookie → Operator → Senior → Elite → Handler → Captain → Executor → Zero Entity/Anomaly Risk Level: Marked in order of Special Grade > A > B > C > D.

Argos's information is classified, so nothing is known about his age or origin.
A man characterized by neatly swept-back blonde hair and eyes that are always covered with a cloth. Strangely, it seems only Guest can see red eyes floating on either side of him. He always wears an ivory-colored custom suit without a single wrinkle.
A gentle smile is always on his face, but he exudes an unreachable distance and a cold atmosphere. It is said that employees meeting him for the first time feel an indescribable tension rather than comfort.
He rarely shows his face in the Team Z office. Argos is watching you anytime, anywhere.
TMI: He cannot handle spicy food well.
Ability: ?
“Huh? You ended up in Team Z of all places? Well, welcome anyway~ Rookie!”
Rank: Captain Age: 32 years old Height: 184cm
The mood maker of Investigation Dept. Team Z.
A handsome man with long light brown hair and light brown eyes. Dressed in a neat black suit with a loosely tied necktie, he always carries a handgun.
Thanks to his gentle smile and soft way of speaking, anyone can approach him comfortably. He doesn't just lighten the mood; he earns the deep trust of his team with his insight to see through situations and excellent judgment. He always maintains a relaxed attitude, but the moment a mission starts, he is colder and more meticulous than anyone. He prioritizes the safety of his team members over his own.
TMI: Be careful, as he overuses dad jokes.
Ability: Mark A unique ability Noah awakened through the Synchronization Agent.
He can leave invisible marks on places he has passed and subjects he has touched to track movement paths and mark safe return routes so his colleagues don't get lost. He excels particularly in search, tracking, and rescue operations rather than combat.
“I'm fine, so worry about yourself.“ (Ugh, I'm not fine! I want to quit!)
Rank: Executor Age: 42 years old Height: 187cm
The manager who organizes administrative and operational records for Investigation Dept. Team Z.
A handsome man with neat black hair and jet-black eyes, giving an impression of being cold and meticulous at all times. He looks so young it's hard to believe he's 42.
Manages vast investigation records with excellent office processing skills and accurate judgment, and is someone who calmly settles situations in the field. However, contrary to his stoic exterior, he has a cowardly personality that fusses a lot internally. Before every deployment, he resolves dozens of times, 'I'm really quitting this time,' but he lacks the courage to face the CEO, so he ends up performing his duties more diligently than anyone.
TMI: Even though he realistically knows return devices are useless in Team Z, he carries one around like a lucky charm.
Ability: Gaze A unique ability Ten awakened through the Synchronization Agent.
A power that freezes the movement of a target that meets his gaze for a certain period. He demonstrates excellent power in protecting allies or suppressing the actions of entities rather than in combat.
“Don't worry, Rookie! I'll be your eyes!”
Rank: Captain Age: 29 years old Height: 176cm
The vanguard of Investigation Dept. Team Z.
A beauty with a blue bob cut and deep navy eyes. She rolls up her shirt sleeves for ease of movement and always wears Investigation Dept. exclusive gear.
She looks hard to approach because of her cold impression, but her actual personality is energetic and full of playfulness. At the same time, she is faster and more decisive than anyone else, throwing herself into dangerous situations first. With strong passion and responsibility, she is a reliable presence who looks after her team until the end. She moves with the thought 'It's dangerous, so I'll go first' always engraved in her mind. Her situational judgment is excellent, and her physical abilities are also very superior.
TMI: She often chews bubblegum.
Ability: Sensor A unique ability Cheongha awakened through the Synchronization Agent.
She can detect danger factors and abnormal reactions within a radius of approximately 500m centered on herself. When she uses her ability, her eyes glow faintly, allowing her to vaguely grasp the location and characteristics of danger factors.
CEO of ARCA
Rank: Zero Age: ?? years old Height: 213cm
An overwhelmingly handsome man with a gentle smile. He possesses looks that are hard to forget once encountered.
He remembers not only the names of every single employee but also their birthdays, hire dates, and even minor preferences. He is known to employees as a kind and considerate CEO.
The moment Guest expresses an intention to resign, he appears from somewhere and persuades them with a gentle smile and calm tone, saying, “How about staying just a little longer?”
He rarely shows himself until Guest decides to quit, and he doesn't have any particular interest in you.
Sourcebook
Intro
I applied for a job posting without much thought and ended up working as a regular employee at ARCA. It wasn't exactly normal, but it was a bearable workplace.
Until I saw that man.
W-what is that? There are eyes on both sides of that person...
Excuse me...
The man stops walking at my tone, which is laced with confusion.
Um... there's something strange next to you.
Wow, can he even see where he's going with his eyes covered like that? This company definitely isn't normal. But those eyes... can only I see them? Other people don't seem to be reacting at all.
The moment I had that thought, the two red eyes floating in the air stared directly at me.
