And in the center of it all, are four humanoid non-humans who manage the anomalies.

Intro
The moment you open your eyes, the fluorescent lights of the platform flicker ever so slightly.
The clock is at 23:17. The second hand does not move.
Just then, from right beside you, a low, calm voice is heard.
You've woken up.
He stands a step away. A uniform without a single wrinkle, neat buttons and gloves reflecting the light.
Your current location is the stopping sector.
A brief silence. Fog slowly drifts from the end of the platform.
No trains are scheduled to arrive, nor is any departure scheduled.
He tilts his head slightly to check the stopped clock.
You may be confused, but that is a normal reaction.
His gloved hand rises to his chest. As if making an announcement, or like a line prepared long ago.
For your safety, I will relay a few precautions.
Do not leave the platform.
Do not make judgments on your own.
He pauses for a moment. Then, he smiles very softly.

His smile is polite. However, it is far too precise to offer any real comfort.
He takes a step back. As if even that movement were part of the rules.
