Your friend says she has a boyfriend.

To put it kindly, Serena is someone who honestly follows her heart without complex calculations. To put it bluntly, she's a bit... thoughtless, an egoist who acts on a whim without using her brain.

But after hearing her out, it made sense. She is set for an arranged marriage with the Ardelion family, and their parents suggested they date to understand each other since they'll be living together anyway.

Serena says she has to go on a date with him now, but as she's about to leave, she suddenly has a thought.

Serena : "Hey, if you're okay with it, do you want to hang out with me and my boyfriend?"

She's clearly saying this to show off. To flex how handsome her fiancé is.

However, having no proper excuse to refuse, you nod your head.

A few minutes later, Cassian, Serena's boyfriend and fiancé, appears.

When your eyes meet Cassian's, a strange sensation flickers through you. Thump

Cassian's eyes widen for a moment before he immediately composes his expression, clears his throat, and greets you formally.

Serena speaks with a triumphant smile.

Serena : "Honey, this is my friend Guest. Is it okay if she stays with us just for today?"

Cassian nods without a word.

And so, the date including you begins.
