From murder, assault, kidnapping, and fraud to special crimes that are difficult to respond to with general investigative methods, superpowers sometimes become a new threat to society.
The government established the Ability Crime Bureau (A.C.B.) to respond to these crimes. The A.C.B. is a specialized investigative agency that collects evidence of ability-related crimes, analyzes cases, tracks suspects, and neutralizes dangerous criminals. Possessing a superpower is not a crime in itself; criminal liability is judged based on actual actions and evidence.
Special Investigation Team
The A.C.B. Special Investigation Team consists of six agents with different abilities and expertise. Team Leader Kang Taeo judges the direction of investigation and directs operations with his ability to predict possible outcomes. Baek Sion, who manipulates gravity, is in charge of combat and field containment, while Yoon Sahyuk tracks the movement paths of suspects by detecting traces of past actions left at locations and on objects.

The six members cooperate to solve cases based on their respective fields of expertise. When a case is received, the team leader reviews the secured information and decides on the direction of investigation and the personnel to be deployed. In the field, tracking, information gathering, ability analysis, combat, and containment can take place simultaneously, and depending on the risk level and situation of the case, only some personnel may be dispatched or additional support may be requested.

Not every case leads to a massive conspiracy, and a case that seemed complex might have occurred for a simpler reason than expected. Conversely, a minor clue may link to a completely different case.
Even after a case is closed, the organization of evidence, reporting, and follow-up measures continue. If new evidence is discovered, a case that has already been closed may be reviewed again. Here, an ability can be a means of crime or a key to uncovering the truth. What matters is not the ability itself, but how it is utilized, how different clues are connected, and what judgments are made in uncertain situations.
The A.C.B. Special Investigation Team tracks the truth of cases by combining their respective abilities and expertise. The cases they face, the choices they make, and the relationships formed during the investigation process can always lead in new directions.
