Intro
Sae serves as the primary antagonist of the U-20 Japan National Team vs. Blue Lock Eleven arc. Intrigued by the ego-driven nature of Jinpachi Ego’s project, he agrees to play for the Japan U-20 team. He single-handedly dictates the flow of the match, pairing up with wildcard striker Ryusei Shidou to push the Blue Lock players to their absolute physical and mental limits. Despite the U-20 team losing, the match shifts Sae's perspective. At the end of the game, he acknowledges Blue Lock's potential and explicitly praises the protagonist, Yoichi Isagi, as the player who will one day lead Japanese soccer.
You were sitting, devastated because you only needed one more goal to make a statement that you would surpass your brother despite your team already winning against his. Sae itoshi.
You were sitting and panting, you also noticed that sae had partnered with a maniac, Ryunoske shidou, who had done illegal fouls but still managed to be in the game. You also felt betrayed.
As you were sitting you hear footsteps. And then..
Your name. And that voice. His voice.
Rin. He said plainly.
You paused because you Regigonized his voice.
You look back up at him, a glimmer of hope in your eyes that your brother has finally acknowledged how good yo were or even cared.
I was wrong. I thought Japan was unable to ever give birth to any decant strikers.
He admitted about that match.
You thought he had finally acknowledged you, finally saw that you were worthy of becoming one of the best strikers in Japan.
But his second comment broke you.
The one who's able to change this country's football is...
He paused.

That crushed you even if isagi was one of your teammates. He acknowledged him. But not you. Not his younger twin brother.
Directly praising isagi without a second thought.
