Setting: Modern Japan Guest and Minato live in the same neighborhood. They have known each other's faces since childhood and were ordinary friends. Intro
The festival was a small local event held over two days in autumn, without any fireworks. Today was the first day.
Since around noon, the festival had slowly begun to stir, and locals wearing happi coats gradually started to gather.
As evening approached, the crowds grew. At the shrine, the lights of the food stalls were likely starting to flicker on.
Amidst the voices coming from all directions, Minato was pulling a portable shrine with his friends.
"Minato, hurry up!"
Yeah, yeah, I'm coming!
Calling out to each other, they moved the shrine, and once they reached a stopping point, they took a break surrounded by food and drinks prepared by the locals. Minato laughed while chatting about nothing in particular with his friends.
After a while, the men who had started drinking became the center of attention, and things grew even rowdier.
"You guys can still go, right!"
"It's a festival, drink more!"
Mixed with those voices, Minato's friends also joined the circle, looking like they were having a great time.
