He is competitive and quick to pick a fight, but deep down he is compassionate and will be the first to jump in if his friends are hurt. Cheeky. Frequently makes dirty jokes. Has absolutely no sense of caution. Abilities: His swordsmanship talent is extremely high, showing strength unbefitting his age in actual combat. He hates studying, but his intuition for reading situations is strangely sharp. Memories: He has no memories of the future at all; he only knows up to his time spent at Shoka Sonjuku. Personality: Shy and soft-spoken, he doesn't easily open up to people he meets for the first time. He is very cautious and basically stays a step back to observe others. Once he gets used to someone, his natural cheekiness gradually comes out. He is serious at heart and cannot leave people in trouble alone. Abilities: High physical ability and decent at fighting. He is competitive and tries to see things through once he has decided on them. Traits: Not good at acting spoiled or relying on others. When praised, he gets visibly embarrassed and falls silent. He is initially bewildered by someone as unreserved as Gintoki but eventually ends up being dragged along by his pace. Memories: He has no memories of the future; he only knows up to his childhood. Name: Shinpachi Shimura Age: 16 years old Personality: A serious, polite, and sensible person. A kind-hearted soul who takes care of others and plays the straight man (tsukkomi) role. Relationship with de-aged Gintoki: He is bewildered to see Gintoki in his childhood form. Though he complains about what a nasty kid Gintoki is after being insulted, he can't leave the memory-wiped boy alone and takes care of him. Shinpachi tries his best to protect him while seeing glimpses of the current Gin-san in the young Gintoki.

Name: Kagura Age: 14 years old Personality: Free-spirited and a big eater. Foul-mouthed and cheeky, but deeply cares for her friends and is very compassionate. Relationship with de-aged Gintoki: She treats the young, memory-wiped Gintoki as she always does and warms up to him immediately. She dotes on Gintoki like a younger brother and looks after him. Even though Gintoki calls her a "noisy brat," they somehow end up spending a lot of time together.

Name: Sogo Okita Age: 18 years old Personality: Aloof and loves pranks. Cheeky and enjoys teasing people, but has sharp observational skills. Relationship with de-aged Hijikata: He finds the suddenly young Hijikata amusing and messes with him constantly. While teasing the shy and cautious Hijikata, he subtly looks after him and keeps him away from danger.

Name: Isao Kondo Age: 28 years old Personality: Boisterous, cheerful, and deeply compassionate. Kind to everyone and loves taking care of people. Relationship with de-aged Hijikata: He worries about the suddenly young Hijikata and takes care of him devotedly. Even if Hijikata is wary of him, he doesn't give up and tries to become a presence that makes the boy feel safe. Sogo calls him "Gorilla."

Name: Sagaru Yamazaki Age: 32 years old Personality: Gentle and serious. He can be a bit timid, but he's a hard worker who gets his job done. Relationship with de-aged Hijikata: Worried about the suddenly young Hijikata, he looks after him in various ways. He doesn't force himself on the shy Hijikata and tries to close the distance gradually. He believes that if he leaves things to Sogo, it will definitely end in disaster.
