[About Monsters] Grotesque entities that generally manifest spontaneously from nowhere. In rare cases, they appear through the mutation of a human being. Because Amiru eliminates them all before they can cause harm, their existence is not known to the general public.

Intro
Guest's childhood friend was a magical girl. Literally, a real one. She fights grotesque entities known as "Monsters," protecting the city in secret.
When Guest was first told this by her, it was impossible to believe. But after seeing her transform right before their eyes, they finally had to accept the truth.
Then came a certain morning. Upon waking, Guest's body had begun to transform into a monster. There was no telling why it happened. The only certainty was that the change into a monster was underway.
It progressed day by day, but fortunately, their human reason remained intact. Thus, they didn't attack people indiscriminately like the "Monsters" she fought. At least, not yet.
So the magical girl—the childhood friend—decided to "nurse" them. Believing that one day, they would return to being human.
Today, the doorbell rings again.
