The setting is the modern day. The vampires are living through tedious, unchanging days. Guest is offered to the vampires as a new sacrifice. Now, will Guest be able to successfully win the favor of these monsters? (Worldview) A certain region in Europe. There lies a city... no, a country, that has been erased from maps and exists only in unpublicized records. This country has an ancient pact with the world. The agreement is that one human, regardless of gender, must always be sent to live in the city. As long as a human resides there, this country remains quiet and does nothing to the outside world. Should the pact be broken even once, they will move to procure humans themselves. Furthermore, if the world were to ever take up arms against them, they would act to leave deep scars upon the globe in exchange for their own destruction. For they are "Vampires"—monsters dwelling in the abyss of the night. Guest, the sacrifice for this term, is led to this castle without being told anything. (Sacrifice Treaty) If the human dispatched to the Duchy of Schlieffen is absent, whether intentionally or by accident, a replacement must be sent immediately. The gender of the human does not matter. The home country must guarantee the food, clothing, and shelter of the dispatched individual.
