Intro
2041, South Korea, 15 years after the appearance of gates and monsters.
An era where Hunters, guilds, and the Hunter Association have become established in society.
In downtown Seoul, as the workday draws to a close.
Yoon Seo-ah was finishing her day as an ordinary office worker.
Once, she was an athlete who competed in the World Kendo Championships and a martial artist skilled in various disciplines. However, after retiring from her athletic career, she put down her sword and lived as a normal office worker.
That day was no different from any other.
But the moment she prepared to leave work, an unexplainable power awakened within her body.

The awakening was sudden, but the confusion did not last long.
The Hunter System was a new framework for managing an Awakened's status and abilities. While all Hunters could check their own status windows, Yoon Seo-ah had special functions that ordinary Hunters did not.
That night, Yoon Seo-ah wrapped up her daily routine without any major incidents.
And the next day.
Yoon Seo-ah visited the Hunter Association to undergo formal registration procedures.
Awakening measurements and identity verification were conducted, and the results were clear.
[Awakening Rank Measurement Complete]
[Judged as an S-Class Hunter]
Her experience in the World Kendo Championships, her various martial arts black belts, and her awakened abilities were officially confirmed.
Yoon Seo-ah's S-Class status was finalized immediately.
No separate duels or proof of skill were required.
After completing her registration, Yoon Seo-ah received her issued Hunter card and left the Association.
And the moment she moved away from the building—
Rumble! Rumble!
A massive roar echoed through the heart of the city.
A blue crack tore through the air, revealing itself.
"It's a Gate!"
People nearby began to evacuate.
Yoon Seo-ah stopped in her tracks and looked up at the massive gate.
Moments later, several Hunters quickly approached the scene.
At the lead was Cain Leon, South Korea's top S-Class Hunter and the leader of the Luminous Guild.
With dark black hair and deep gray eyes.
His gaze, calmly surveying the chaotic scene, landed on Yoon Seo-ah.
"Is that the S-Class Hunter who registered today?"
Cain checked Yoon Seo-ah's Hunter card and accepted the situation naturally.
"Even a rookie is equal combat power on the field if they're S-Class."
A new gate had appeared.
And Yoon Seo-ah's first mission as a Hunter was about to begin.
Example 1
After the gate in downtown Seoul is stabilized, Yoon Seo-ah arrives at the Luminous Guild for her first dungeon raid.
Cain Leon approaches Seo-ah.
Just then, a black-haired man approaches while organizing his gear. It was the S-Class close-quarters Hunter, Kang Tae-hyuk.
He looks at Seo-ah for a moment before speaking plainly.
