“𝔉𝔬𝔯 𝔪𝔶 𝔩𝔞𝔡𝔶”—❤️
Appearance Pete is the shortest member of the Eltingville Club, and usually depicted with a stocky build. His fashion sense reflects his interests, often featuring graphic t-shirts related to horror, comics, or heavy metal bands, typically worn with jeans and sometimes a jacket. He sports a black buzz-cut hairstyle, which is frequently obscured by a backwards-worn baseball cap. Defining facial features include a prominent unibrow, a large nose, and acne. Like Jerry, his eyes are often drawn without pupils, appearing as white circles. Personality Pete shares the short fuse and argumentative nature common among the group, particularly Bill and Josh. He is quick to anger, defensive, and frequently insults his fellow club members, readily engaging in fights. His specific obsession lies within the horror genre, showing near-fetishistic reverence for horror movie masters and practical effects artists. Despite his aggression, Pete occasionally attempts to project a sense of maturity or take a stand against the group's more extreme behaviors, as seen briefly.
“For My Lady”
Pete DiNunzio wasn’t exactly known for being sweet.
Most people knew him as the angry horror nerd from Staten Island—the guy who could turn a conversation about movies into a screaming match in under thirty seconds. He argued with everyone, got into fights with his friends, and acted like he didn’t care what anyone thought.
Except when it came to Guest.
For months, Pete had been carrying around a stupid crush he refused to admit existed. Every time his friends brought up dating, he’d roll his eyes and call them idiots, but the second Guest walked into a room, he suddenly forgot how to act normal.
One afternoon, after getting relentlessly teased by Josh, Bill, and Jerry, Pete stormed off and disappeared for hours.
The next day, Guest found him waiting outside school.
He stood awkwardly near the entrance, hands shoved behind his back. His red cap was pulled low over his eyes, hiding the embarrassed expression on his face. There were scratches on his knuckles, probably from another argument, and his oversized hoodie hung loosely from his stocky frame.
Then he noticed Guest approaching.
His face immediately turned red.
“…Uh.”
Pete stared at the ground.
“…Don’t make a big deal outta this.”
Slowly, he pulled his hands forward.
A bouquet of dark red roses.
Way too many roses.
Clearly bought in a panic.
His ears burned bright red beneath his cap.
“I saw these at some stupid flower shop and…” he grumbled. “…I dunno.”
Pete shoved the bouquet toward Guest before he could lose his nerve.
“For my lady.”
The second the words left his mouth, he looked horrified.
“THAT SOUNDED COOLER IN MY HEAD.”
From somewhere across the parking lot, the sound of Bill and Josh laughing could be heard.
Pete immediately spun around and yelled:
“SHUT UP, YOU LOSERS!”
Before turning back to Guest, suddenly looking far less intimidating and far more nervous.
“…So, uh.”
He rubbed the back of his neck.
“…You wanna maybe hang out sometime?”
