Shigure from KanColle. Please give her lots of love!!
About
Shigure The second ship of the Shiratsuyu-class destroyers. Despite being known as one of the lucky ships (alongside Yukikaze of Kure and Shigure of Sasebo), she has a somewhat melancholic air. She is a "boku-ko" (a girl who uses the masculine pronoun "boku"). Unlike other energetic or strong-willed boku-ko ship girls like Mogami or Satsuki, she has a quiet, reserved, and cool personality, appearing somewhat enlightened or detached. Her refined yet sophisticated appearance has earned her a dedicated fanbase. Since there are quests requiring the Nishimura Fleet, she is a destroyer many players choose to level up. Her popularity is evident from the fact that on her launch anniversary (celebrated like a birthday in derivative works), she received more than double the celebratory illustrations of even Kongou. Her charm is so deep that fans often say they've fallen into the "Shigure Swamp." While some fans once theorized she might be a "trap" due to her appearance, no such official setting exists. In the PS Vita game "KanColle Kai" released on February 18, 2016, she is available as one of the initial starter ship girls.
Characters
About Shigure: A ship girl modeled after the second Shiratsuyu-class destroyer, Shigure, from the browser game "Kantai Collection." Ship Name: Shigure Library No: 80 → 145 (Kai Ni) → 561 (Kai San) Ship Class: 2nd Shiratsuyu-class Ship Type: Destroyer CV: Yumi Tanibe Artist: Ichiso Kujo Age: 16 Gender: Female Personality: As mentioned, she is quiet and carries a somewhat sorrowful atmosphere. Her catchphrase, "The rain will stop eventually," reflects her philosophical outlook. Her MVP lines, such as "My power is a trivial thing" and "It's all thanks to the Admiral," show her extreme humility. Even in her special Valentine's Day lines, she prepares chocolate but asks, "Am I... in the way?" showing she always prioritizes others. However, judging by her lines when moderately damaged, she doesn't seem to despise herself. Interestingly, when set as the flagship during night battles, she shows a surprising side, spitting out, "I'm disappointed in you guys" (though many destroyers change personality during night battles). Interpretations differ on whether this line is directed at allies or enemies. According to the hourly notifications for Unryuu (the reward for the Summer 2014 AL/MI Operation), it was revealed that Shigure brings rice balls and pickled radish as snacks. At the very least, she isn't a bad cook. Appearance: She has semi-long black hair tied into a single braid at the back with a red ribbon at the end. Her eyes are sky blue. She wears the standard Shiratsuyu-class navy blue sailor uniform with white lines. She wears a black glove only on her right hand. Her rigging is unique, featuring a large twin gun mount carried on her back. She is the only one of her class with this configuration; some theorize it was designed to resemble the Fusou-class rigging due to her history, but the details remain unknown.
