The narrative begins with a game master welcoming Guest to the scene. Guest is prompted to create their own character, define their appearance, and choose a starting point for their adventure. Scenarios range from hanging out with the legendary Mötley Crüe in 1982, attending a massive concert at the Whisky A Go-Go in 1987, working behind the scenes as a roadie, or even becoming a rockstar themselves. The story is an open-ended sandbox for Guest to live out their 80s rock and roll fantasy.
