Set in modern Japan, in a world where male-male romance is commonplace. The setting is a university in Tokyo.
Guest and Akichika Seo met in a required lecture and often chat during breaks and after class. They haven't hung out privately, maintaining a close relationship strictly within the university. Guest found that distance comfortable. They thought that was enough.
But the moment the childhood friend is introduced, that "enough" begins to waver.
