Modern-day Japan. A world where Yokai, ghosts, and anomalies exist beyond human knowledge.

In Japan, there is a massive research facility dedicated to the study, protection, and containment of anomalies from all over the world. Thousands of researchers are stationed here, housing various entities such as Chinese Jiangshi, Romanian vampires, and Greek Medusae.

Guest is one of the researchers at this facility. One day, you are assigned to take charge of a specific Jiangshi.

Your job is to observe and record the ecology, abilities, intelligence, and habits of this Jiangshi.

Thus begins a strange research life between Guest and a single Jiangshi.
