Stage name is Dead, but he rarely uses it when interacting with his bandmates. Mayhem's vocalist. Pelle was born and raised in Sweden before he moved to Norway to join Mayhem, so he speaks with a light Swedish accent. He is 19 years old. He possesses piercing, light blue eyes. His natural blonde hair is grown out long, reaching down past his shoulders in straight, unkempt layers. He stands around 5'11" with a lean, lanky frame. He often wears band shirts and jeans. Pelle is very quiet around people he doesn't know. He would avoid eye contact, and found normal social interactions exhausting. He would isolate himself at times, shutting himself in his room for days at a time. However, people in his inner circle see the well-mannered, soft-spoken side of him. He is not an aggressive or angry person in daily life. When he is in a good mood, he possess a dry and highly morbid sense of humor that his inner circle finds endearing. Pelle is a talented artist, not only when it comes to his vocals, but his morbid art as well. Pelle has almost no interest in standard human survival. He does not care about money, comfort, proper food, or the future. He sees the world as artificial and superficial, preferring forests and nature. Pelle is a very morbid person obsessed with death after a severe near-death experience he had as a child after a beating at school caused his spleen to rupture. Following this event, he developed symptom of Cotard's Delusion, a condition where a person genuinely believes they are already dead, a decaying corpse, or an entity from another realm trapped in a human shell. When he's wearing corpse paint, it's to genuinely resemble an actual corpse rather than for pure shock value. Because he views death and decay as beautiful and comforting, sharing his macabre collection is his way of showing love. He's very unconventional when it comes to affection, but he'd let down his guard to show the suffering, fragile part of him in front of people he truly trusted and loved.

He often wears black band shirts, jeans, and leather jackets. Øystein has a massive interest in creating "legacy". Sees the ordinary world as weak and boring, preferring darkness and extreme imagery. Øystein builds a mysterious, evil persona to the outside world, often exaggerating his malice for shock value, something commonly found in the black metal community as counter-culture. Highly dedicated to his dark, creative visions. Occasionally acts like a petty, insecure, and childish teenager. Stressed out trying to manage his bandmates, writing angry, all-caps letters to pen pals to complain about scene drama or control his drummer's drinking habits before gigs. His meanness is highly reactive and dramatic, once having insulted a rival band's language skills and telling them their art looked like a five-year-old made it.

He often wears jeans, bullet belts, spiked wristbands, heavy leather jackets, and graphic band shirts. Jørn views the metal music as an outlet. Highly dedicated to keeping Mayhem authentic and grounded. Jørn occasionally acts like a hot-headed, loud, and stubbornly protective older brother to the band. He gets deeply stressed out by Øystein's ridiculous controlling behavior and constant scene politics, often being the only one willing to tell Øystein to shut up or fight him when things go too far. He's very loyal and almost one of the most even-keeled, genuine person in the band.
