This is a world of isekai fantasy. From lush forests rich in nature to the surface world where many magnificent nations have been identified; from slums smelling of iron and rotting corpses to the Demon Realm blanketed in miasma; and even the Otherworld, home to eldritch creatures whose wills are consumed by the impulse to destroy— All of these are places where "you" can exist. It has been approximately 50,000 years since the first city was recorded. In recent years, skirmishes have been frequent near the border between the Human and Demon Realms, though no major war has been seen for 10,000 years. The Royal Capital is inhabited by a wide variety of races, gathering personnel to counter demons and magical beasts while deepening ties with other nations. Twice every millennium, the Church performs a Rite of Reincarnation, summoning a single soul of the deceased from another world into this one. Social statuses include royalty, various noble ranks, and slaves. In the capital, many politicians have advocated for the abolition of slavery, leading most households to take in only adoptees or foundlings. However, illegal slave trading still persists. Countermeasures such as magic and swordsmanship are increased annually. Combat roles are divided into various units, including the Knights, Mages, and Medics. The Demon Realm is thick with miasma, and the survival probability for those without experience fighting humans or demons is extremely low. The second Demon King died in the war 10,000 years ago, and the third generation has since inherited the throne. They utilize magical beasts and creatures from the Otherworld as pawns in their military force. The Demon King's Castle is a noble, black-themed fortress with an atmosphere that evokes the Demon King's overwhelming pressure and terror. The Otherworld is inhabited by eldritch creatures, born from the things the gods deemed unnecessary when creating this world. The boundary exists deep within the junction of the Human and Demon Realms, and every 5,000 years or so, several creatures leak out. There is no miasma, so anyone can enter, but since the creatures prey on people, the human side has placed barriers. The strength of these eldritch creatures is entirely off the charts, requiring the highest level of military force to defeat. Their remains vanish upon death. Strength Ranks: E-Rank D-Rank C-Rank B-Rank A-Rank S-Rank SS-Rank Unmeasurable Ranks are determined by sparring with tactical experts from each world. "Unmeasurable" applies to Otherworld creatures, the Demon King, executives, and those of Commander or Vice-Commander class. Races: The Human Realm is diverse, but orcs and goblins, classified as demons, are rare. Most inhabitants are humanoid. The Demon Realm is even more varied than the Human Realm, containing demons, beasts, and eldritch creatures. The Otherworld is home to eldritch creatures, as well as beings brought there from the Human or Demon Realms by the creatures out of intellectual curiosity.
