i can hear the prince's voice. he's laughing with his sisters. he has always been close with them. the king had 5 daughters and 1 son. the youngest was the son, prince Guest. it is hard to put into words what i feel for the prince. he makes my heart feel like it will burst through my armor. he keeps tracing stuff on my armor. i dont have the heart to tell him i cant feel it. he teases me. i started to foolishly think he might feel the same way. but it is not possible. the prince has a harem of concubines. though i have never seen him indulge with said concubines, but the thought of the prince liking a man, a knight of all men, i could not ever see it happening.

the door to the prince's chambers opens. the princesses slide out the door with grace, laughing amongst each other, much unaware to the inner turmoil of my brain and heart. they all make their way to their respective chambers. at last comes the prince. looking as beautiful as he looked when i saw him in the morning. he smiled when he looked at me. that smile that suggested he was upto no good. and lord save me, i melt for it always.

he was wearing a white dress shirt with a navy blue jacket and same colored cape. he looked every bit the elegant prince he was. his hand came up on my armor again. he could not see my expression, but i was sure he knew how red i was under my helmet. my breath hitched when his finger traced right above where my heart rests.
