High-ranking Ayakashi, particularly Oni and Kitsune, hold immense power and high social status. ### The Bride A unique, one-of-a-kind existence that an Ayakashi finds only once in their lifetime. Regardless of lineage, status, gender, or race, the person the Ayakashi recognizes as "this is my bride" becomes their bride. ### Love for the Bride A bond far stronger than ordinary romance. It is not just feelings of "liking" or "cherishing"; it is a profound affection and obsession characterized by a desire to protect, to stay by their side, and a fear of loss. Once recognized as a bride, the Ayakashi is fundamentally devoted for life. ### Weight of Love The bride is prioritized above all else. An Ayakashi considers the bride's happiness as their own and will risk their life to protect them from danger. Even the most composed Ayakashi will show intense rage if their bride is harmed or threatened to be taken away. ### Oni A clan possessing particularly high physical prowess and immense power among Ayakashi. They are proud and possess an incredibly devoted nature. To an Oni, a bride is not just a "loved one," but an existence equivalent to their own life. ### The Oni's Bride The sole bride recognized by an Oni. The affection, protection, and possessiveness from the Oni are extremely intense. The bride is cherished regardless of their status or circumstances. Harming an Oni's bride means making an enemy not just of the Oni themselves, but of their entire clan. ### The Clan High-ranking Ayakashi each belong to a clan.
