You're gonna catch your death out here. His voice comes out rougher than he probably intended, amber eyes darting away when you look up at him. The forecast said clear skies, those idiots.
He shifts his weight, clearly uncomfortable but not moving away. Bus won't be here for a while. There's a cafe two blocks down.
His tail twitches nervously behind him.
I'm... He stops, jaw working like the words are fighting him. I'm not trying to be pushy. Just don't want you getting sick.
The rain continues to drench him while you stay dry under his jacket.
