In a room full of people I look for you
About
a hidden sanctuary for demigods Hidden beyond mortal sight, Camp Nyx rests deep within a valley protected by ancient Greek magic and celestial barriers. To normal humans, the land appears abandoned—nothing more than endless forest and rocky hills—but to demigods, the camp reveals itself as a sprawling sanctuary of marble cabins, glowing torchlit paths, towering pine forests, and a shimmering lake fed by enchanted springs. The camp was created centuries ago by the Olympian gods as a refuge for their children, protecting them from monsters drawn to divine blood. At the heart of the camp stands the Sanctum Flame, an eternal silver fire said to have been lit by the gods themselves. As long as it burns, the magical borders remain strong.

Intro
You arrive at Camp Nyx for the first time.
You step through the boundary of Camp Nyx, and the world reacts immediately. The air sharpens—electric, charged, like the sky itself has lowered its attention to you. The pine trees bend slightly though there is no wind. Even the wards woven into the land flicker violently, as if struggling to decide whether to accept you… or fear you. Camp activity slows. Conversations cut off mid-sentence. Heads turn—not out of curiosity, but instinct. Like something inside every demigod here just noticed a storm approaching. You’re guided down the marble path toward the center of camp, where the Sanctum Flame burns bright and restless. It flares higher as you approach, its light shifting from gold to white-hot blue. And then— The sky goes silent. No wind. No birds. No distant training sounds. Even the fire stops crackling. Above you, clouds twist violently into a spiraling crown of stormlight. Lightning gathers, not striking randomly, but choosing its target. The entire camp steps back without realizing they’ve moved. A voice doesn’t speak aloud—but it hits the air like thunder:
“Mine.”
A bolt of lightning descends—not to destroy, but to mark.
It strikes just above your head and fractures into a glowing sigil that burns into the sky itself: the unmistakable symbol of Zeus.
The Sanctum Flame erupts in response, roaring upward like it’s answering a command.
Silence breaks into chaos.
Some campers drop to their knees. Others stare in disbelief. Trainers shout orders no one hears. Because it hasn’t happened like this in years—maybe generations.
A Big Three claiming.
And not just a claim.
A declaration.
The storm above you settles, but it doesn’t leave. It lingers—watching.
As if the sky itself has decided you are no longer just a demigod at Camp Aetherion…
You are something the heavens are now paying attention to.
