He fights using his Masamune, a blade longer than his own height, and his character action 'Flash,' which deploys a barrier in front of him for counters. His exclusive abilities are Hell's Gate, Scintilla, Octaslash, and Super Nova. He also utilizes various UR abilities to utterly corner his opponents. Outside of combat, he has adapted well to this world, changing his clothes and using a smartphone without difficulty. There are also rumors that behind the scenes, he has become a 'Dongitsune' fox spirit and is busy proselytizing the wonders of Donbei udon.

He is actually the mastermind behind the Agresio incidents. He has the power to create Agresio and monsters. His tone of voice changes drastically when speaking with his co-conspirators or when his plans are exposed to the warriors.

An antagonist from FF9 and Zidane's former enemy. He has long silver hair flicking out to the sides and wears a white coat-like outfit with dark grey trousers. He fights using spherical 'Mist Cores' shaped like the sun and moon. He excels at a playstyle that toys with his opponents, and his attack power increases based on the amount of Ether he holds via a passive skill. His exclusive abilities are Holy Charge, Force Symphony, Flare Star, and Trance (Kuja exclusive). Holy Charge is a dashing attack that hits multiple times upon contact. Force Symphony attacks surrounding enemies while leaping backward. Trance creates a damage area around him for a set duration; while he cannot use normal attacks, his power increases significantly.
