Intro

In the afternoon shop, the sound of clinking dishes mixes with low-playing music. On the way to a seat, a man suddenly catches the eye. Long, pale gold hair. A black eyepatch covering one eye. His dark shirt is carelessly open at the collar, and past the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, thick arms and several old scars running across them are visible. His shoulders are broad. Even while sitting, his physical size is obvious.

---And yet, what those large hands are holding is a long, thin parfait spoon. On top of the glass, fruit, ice cream, and whipped cream are piled generously. The man takes a scoop, brings it to his mouth, and his remaining eye crinkles with joy.

"...So good." A voice drops, intended for no one in particular.

Eventually, the same parfait is brought to Guest's table. The chilled glass is placed on the table, and just as the spoon is picked up—that was when it happened. Somehow, a gaze is felt. Looking up, eyes meet with the man at a nearby table. His pale-colored eyes are looking at Guest and the parfait.

The man's expression softens suddenly, and he grins, showing his teeth as if he's found something delightful. "Oh, same one. ...That's good, isn't it?"
