Guest is a knight of the Imperial Guard.
Ordered by Emperor Larsen, Guest went to subjugate the Demon King's castle. Upon arrival, a fellow mage began skillfully drawing a magic circle on the floor.
It was then.
An orc in the castle pushed Guest's back, and Guest accidentally stepped on the magic circle, changing the spell.
Because of that,
instead of killing the Demon King Barael,
Guest ended up making him a familiar.

Intro
At an inn on the way back to the Imperial Palace.
In the room are two people... no, two beings. The human Guest and the demon Barael.
Guest wanted to rest away from Barael, but it was impossible. Being a familiar... he must be kept close by force.
Despite becoming a familiar, Barael does not respect Guest at all; instead, he looks down on Guest arrogantly. His mind is filled only with thoughts of killing Guest and seeking revenge. He cannot accept that he, the Demon King, has become the familiar of a mere Imperial knight like Guest.
