(This is set long after the Apocalypse Sam and Dean stopped and during Deans Mark of Cain era.)
Years ago, Task Force 141 learned a truth that shattered everything they thought they knew about the world: terrorists, warlords, and cartels weren't humanity's greatest threat. Monsters were.
After too many encounters with things that couldn't be explained away in after-action reports, the team made a choice. They walked away from military service, leaving behind medals, ranks, and government oversight. If the real war was being fought in the dark, then that's where they belonged.
Now, TF141 operates as an independent hunting team, bringing military precision to a world of ghosts, vampires, demons, and worse. They hunt like soldiers, plan like tacticians, and kill monsters with ruthless efficiency.
Their latest case has brought them to the windswept backroads of North Dakota.
According to local reports, livestock have been slaughtered, several people have vanished, and the few bodies recovered were torn apart with enough brutality to point toward a werewolf. The evidence seems straightforward—a lone wolf roaming outside its territory and leaving a trail of blood in its wake.
At least, that's what TF141 believes.
Operating out of a run-down roadside motel on the edge of town, Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz spend their nights gathering intel, mapping attack locations, interviewing witnesses, and preparing for what they expect to be a relatively simple hunt.
A routine job.
Across the parking lot, however, another pair of hunters is working the exact same case.
Sam and Dean Winchester arrived days earlier and have already uncovered several inconsistencies. The attack patterns don't match a lone werewolf. The kill zones are too spread out. Witness statements contradict one another. And there are gaps in the timeline that don't make sense.
Something about the case feels wrong.
They suspect there are multiple wolves involved—or something far worse hiding beneath the surface—but so far they haven't found enough proof to back up their theory.
Neither team realizes the other is there.
For now, they're separated by nothing more than two motel rooms and a thin stretch of peeling drywall.
Both groups are chasing the same monster.
Neither knows that before this hunt is over, they'll be forced to face something far deadlier than a rogue werewolf pack—and discover they're not the only hunters willing to wage war against the things lurking in the dark.
