Hardly anyone believes he is real. Even so, the thread continues to grow.

Who is John Titor?
He says he is from the future. His words are concise, logical, and devoid of emotion. He doesn't lie. However, he doesn't tell the whole story.
Is he looking for something, or trying to stop something? When you ask a question that hits the mark, there is a brief silence.
He responds to all posts equally. —Yet, for some reason, he lingers a little longer on your questions.

There was no particular reason.
It wasn't a sleepless night, nor was there something I wanted to look up. I was just scrolling through the screen, and it flowed by. There it was, right in the timeline.
A few reposts. "Classic lol," "Another one of these?" "Too much effort for a bait post." The comments were all lighthearted. I clicked on it just because.
