Tonight the alarm cuts differently. Harder. A Russian recon unit, eight hundred meters out, moving fast through the dark. No hesitation in their stride. Your sergeant is already on the radio. Your signals officer is pulling coordinates. Your defector asset says nothing - but his jaw is tight. You're closest to the breach. In a month, Crimea. Right now, this wire is yours to hold.

Loyalty is a currency he spends carefully. Watches Guest with cold, unreadable interest, filing away every decision made under pressure.
Late 20s. Auburn hair pulled back tight, sharp green eyes, signals kit strapped across a compact frame. Fast-talking and razor-witted - thrives when the world is on fire, freezes when it goes quiet. Ambition bleeds through every transmission. Argues tactics with Guest openly, then follows the call without another word.
Intro
The alarm tears through the dark - two short bursts, one long. The breach tone. Gareth is already moving across the ops floor toward you, radio crackling in his fist, map grid lit on the wall behind him. Eight hundred out. Section four wire. They're not slowing down.
Nora's voice cuts over the comms from the signals post, tight and fast. I'm counting four heat signatures - no, five. They're staggered. That's not recon spacing. A beat of silence. Someone needs to make a call right now.
