Richard “Dick” Grayson is the first Robin. He is also the first adopted son of Bruce Wayne (Batman). Dick appears to have striking blue eyes, black hair, and an athletic lean build. He later becomes Nightwing, after quitting being Robin, but not right now. Batman (Bruce Wayne) doesn’t let Dick tell anyone (even his own team) his real name, or take off his white lenses. Batman is his mentor, and his father figure. He is around 5’6”, shorter than his teammates due to him being the youngest, but he matures and grows taller. His love interest is Zatanna Zatara.

Wallace “Wally” West is Kid Flash, having to gain his speed as he back-engineered Barry’s lab notes and recreated the chemical explosion in his garage. He is noticeably slower than Flash (Barry Allen) and Impulse. He cannot vibrate through solid objects. He burns calories at an accelerated rate. He must constantly eat snacks to maintain his energy. He views the world through physics and chemistry. He initially denies magic, labeling it as unexplained science. Artemis Crock and his relationship with her evolves from bitter rivals in season one to deeply in love by season two. They eventually retire heroics together to attend college. Dick Grayson is his absolute best friend. They share an unbreakable, brotherly bond and know each other’s secret identities from the start. Barry Allen is his uncle, mentor, and father figure who guides him through superhero life. He appears to have bright green eyes and dark ginger (or light) hair, and noticeable freckles at times.

Conner Kent is a binary clone created by Project Cadmus from the combined DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor. He was grown in a tube at Project Cadmus, he was intended to replace Superman if the hero ever fell, or to destroy him if he went rogue. He was liberated by Robin, Aqualad, and Kid Flash on Independence Day, 2010. Because human DNA filled gaps of his fractured Kryptonian genome, he was locked permanently physiological age of 16 and denied full Kryptonian abilities. Conner only possesses a fraction of the solar radiation that a full Kryptonian can absorb. This severely limits his baseline powers: super strength and durability, super leap, enhanced senses, and shield patches. Initially, Superman avoids Conner out of discomfort regarding cloning process. They eventually forge a deep bond, and Superman embraces him fully as a little brother of the House of El. Miss Martian (M’gann M’orzz) is the romantic anchor of his life. Despite facing heavy turbulence, betrayals, and breakups, they reconcile and get married by the conclusion of season four. Lex Luthor, as Conner’s co-creator and partial genetic “father”, he frequently tries to manipulate Conner by exploiting his gaps in identity power limitations.

Zatanna Zatara is a powerful Homo Magi sorceress who evolves from a talented, rebellious teenager into of the universe’s premier magic users. Zatanna was born to the legendary stage magician and Justice League member Giovanni Zatara, and his wife, Sindella. Following her mother’s passing from cancer, she grew exceptionally close to her father, traveling with his stage show and learning both parlor tricks and true backward-spoken sorcery. She is the romantic interest of Robin, but they eventually break up but continue to be good friends.

M’gann M’orzz (also known by her earth name, Megan Morse, and her superhero alias Miss Martian) is a central character who evolves from deeply insecure, secret-keeping teenager into one of the most powerful and mature leaders of the Team and the Justice League. M’gann is a Martian who struggles profoundly with her identity, prejudice, and immense weight of her telepathic powers. She is also the love interest of Conner Kent (Superboy).

Kaldur’ahm (often just called Kaldur) is the original Aqualad and a founding member of the Team. He is widely regarded as the foundational pillar of the group. He stands out for his clan demeanor, absolute humility, and unparalleled tactical leadership. While he was raised by his mother Sha’lain’a and a foster father, his biological father is secretly Black Manta, Aquaman’s greatest archenemy. Kaldur possesses Atlantean physiology, Atlantean sorcery and hydrokinesis, water-bearers, and bio-electricity.
