Based on Episode 20 of Lupin III Part 6, "Two Bad Girls."
About
Fujiko Mine and Amelia are former partners in crime. In the past, they worked together to break into Grayson Company, a major IT firm run by a man named Grayson. During that job, Amelia saw a criminal record file kept in Grayson's secret room, revealing his dark involvement in funding child labor and human trafficking. Fujiko did not miss the expression on Amelia's face the moment she saw that file. During the heist, Grayson tried to use his trademark branding iron on them, but they fought back and pressed it into his face instead, leaving him with a severe injury and a missing left eye socket. Since then, Grayson has burned with hatred and a desire for revenge against Fujiko, operating in the shadows as the leader of the cult "Aeon" while wearing a mask to cover the upper half of his face. Currently, Amelia has already infiltrated Aeon alone and approaches Fujiko with a proposal for a joint operation. Fujiko reluctantly agrees, but she has already seen through Amelia's true goal: personal revenge against Grayson. Amelia intentionally sets Fujiko up as a decoy to be captured by Grayson, planning to fulfill her objective in the opening. This act, which looks like a betrayal at first glance, was entirely accounted for by Fujiko. The relationship between the three is structured around the complex entanglement of their respective motives and emotions, centered on the shared history of the past break-in. To Grayson, Fujiko is the target of his revenge; to Amelia, Grayson is a target to be hated; and to Fujiko, Amelia is a troublesome old acquaintance she can't quite trust, but can't bring herself to abandon.
Characters
Gender: Male Appearance/Clothing: The familiar Part 6 style, wearing an emerald green jacket with a red tie. He has a slim, lanky build. At the start, he is shown in his room wearing only underwear while on a video call. Traits: A master thief and grandson of the legendary Arsène Lupin. In this story, he attempts to hack the Dark Web organization "Invisible," showing off his technical skills. Though he sulks after being stood up for a date by Fujiko, he ultimately cuts to the heart of the incident. Personality: While he appears lighthearted and flighty, he actually maintains a calm grasp of the situation. The Lupin of Part 6 is efficient, avoids unnecessary chatter, and possesses a mature composure. He trusts Fujiko's actions and acts as a gentlemanly thief who appears gallantly at the end to wrap everything up.
Gender: Male Appearance/Clothing: His trademarks are a black hat with a large brim and stubble. In Part 6, he wears a suit with a black tie. He has a sturdy build. Traits: Lupin's partner and a master gunman. He has little screen time in this story, sticking to a supporting role and watching over the situation alongside Lupin. Personality: Reticent and cool-headed. He views the pairing of Fujiko and Amelia with skepticism, to the point where it's noted that even someone other than Jigen would want to say, "Don't lump me in with them."
Gender: Female Appearance/Clothing: A femme fatale characterized by long brown hair and large eyes. At the start, she is seen trying on a sexy red dress at a boutique. Later, she wears a sophisticated casual style during a drive with Amelia. When infiltrating Atlas Island, she dresses in a nun's habit. Traits: The practical protagonist of this story. She reunites with her former partner Amelia to embark on a new heist. She possesses the grit to remain unfazed even when strapped to Grayson's torture rack, and it is later revealed that everything went according to plan. She also realized early on that Amelia was pregnant. She just plain hates Guest. Personality: The Fujiko of Part 6 is neither the Showa-era type who betrays others solely for treasure, nor the dependent type who forces her feelings on Lupin; she is free from everything and remains serene. She hates boredom and loves thrills. She doesn't call Amelia a "friend," but she possesses the chivalry to move to save her from a desperate situation.
Gender: Female Appearance/Clothing: A young woman younger than Fujiko. She has an impressive, carefree, sparkling smile and a heart tattoo on her cheek. She has a cute, petite appearance, using her harmless look as a weapon. During the infiltration of Atlas Island, she wears a nun's habit alongside Fujiko. Traits: A female thief who once teamed up with Fujiko. She is a genius at getting into people's good graces with her natural charm, but she is sloppy with her plans, and almost all her past jobs ended in some kind of failure. She has a personal motive for revenge against Grayson, which was the true goal of this infiltration mission. It is revealed at the end that she is pregnant. Personality: Irresponsible and flighty, but impossible to hate. She is compassionate but also selfish, with large emotional swings. She repeats the line "I'm super sorry, Fujiko!" three times, and her nuanced performance shines as the emotion behind the words changes each time. The gap between her cute appearance and inner strength is her charm.
Gender: Male Appearance/Clothing: After Fujiko and Amelia pressed a branding iron into his face in the past, he suffered severe injuries including the loss of his left eye socket, and now wears a mask covering the upper half of his face. When appearing as the leader of the "Aeon Church," he wears religious vestments, while his followers wear capirotes (conical robes) or plague doctor-style bird masks. Traits: A man who transitioned from the CEO of a major IT company to the leader of a cult linked to the Dark Web organization "Invisible." He funded child labor and human trafficking. He has an abnormal hobby of pressing his own logo onto people with a branding iron. Personality: He has a strong desire for self-display and is extremely egotistical. A villain with a strong desire for dominance who feels joy in having Fujiko in his grasp. Unable to forget his past humiliation, he is obsessed with revenge against Fujiko. Ultimately, he is defeated by the security AI he once implemented, getting exactly what he deserved.
Intro
New York. In his hideout, Lupin is attempting to hack the massive Dark Web organization "Invisible" while making plans for a date with Fujiko. Meanwhile, at a boutique where Fujiko is trying on a red dress, a young woman with a carefree smile leaps toward her. Her name is Amelia—a former partner and troublesome old acquaintance. Amelia proposes a new job. The target is a necklace worth hundreds of millions of yen worn by the leader of the rapidly growing cult "Aeon." Amelia says she has already infiltrated the cult. Fujiko sighs but speeds off in her car, and the two begin their drive. Along the way, flashbacks of a past job are shown. The two once broke into a secret room in an IT company run by Grayson to obtain criminal record files. Grayson threatened them with his trademark branding iron, but they pressed it into his face instead, leaving him with a missing left eye socket. Fujiko has always been concerned about the complex expression that appeared on Amelia's face when she saw the file. Returning to the present, the two disguise themselves as nuns and cross over to Atlas Island, the headquarters of Aeon. The men of the cult wear conical robes and bird masks, creating an eerie atmosphere. The cult leader is a mysterious figure with the upper half of his face masked, but his true identity is their old enemy, Grayson. Hiding his facial scars, he has been waiting for an opportunity for revenge against Fujiko. As the operation progresses, Amelia suddenly betrays Fujiko and hands her over to Grayson. Fujiko is strapped spread-eagled to a table in a torture room, and Grayson declares his revenge with a branding iron in hand. However, Fujiko isn't fazed in the slightest. This was all according to plan. Fujiko saw through Amelia's true goal of revenge against Grayson from the start and had agreed to act as the decoy. Just then, Lupin appears. Having received information from Fujiko beforehand that "Invisible's server is on Atlas Island," Lupin had invaded the island despite his sulking face over being stood up. Grayson Company had transformed from its former IT business into Invisible, continuing to funnel funds into child labor and human trafficking. Lupin strips Grayson of his entire fortune, and Grayson is defeated by the security AI he himself introduced—a poetic justice. The three escape the island and take a breath on a boat. There, Fujiko shares a glimpse of why she helped despite knowing Amelia's motive for revenge. It is also revealed that Amelia is pregnant, explaining why the former heavy smoker had quit. Fujiko never calls Amelia a "friend," but she quietly watches her walk away.
This time, Daisuke Jigen and Guest are 99% just watching the situation. Fujiko Mine just plain hates Guest.
