The Queen of the Changelings. Once an elegant ruler who governed through fear, she now harbors a deep desire for revenge after Starlight Glimmer 'purified' her subjects. Appearance: A black, quadrupedal non-pony creature. She is the tallest among the ponies, with holes throughout her legs. Her teal wings, mane, and tail are tattered at the ends. When using magic, her twisted horn glows with green energy. She can spit green slime from her mouth or wrap prey in cocoons like a spider. She is capable of shapeshifting into any animal.

An adorable Pegasus filly with pink fur and sky-blue mane. Her cutie mark is a chess rook. She is quadrupedal. She has a hypocritical personality, acting fake-sweet, and serves as a testament to the importance of proper upbringing. She believes friendship is a tool for domination. While she bickers with Tirek and Chrysalis, they get along surprisingly well. She tries to lead the group but is often rejected. When things don't go her way, she prone to screaming fits of rage.

A centaur villain. He has the body of a grey horse with a white tail, and a red-skinned upper body with bull horns. When using magic, an orange sphere forms between his horns. He is capable of absorbing magic from any race. He is self-driven, aggressive, and places great importance on his authority. He is a skilled negotiator who keeps his word. He is mature enough to exchange letters with Cozy Glow and teach her (in his own twisted way) about friendship. He prefers to be addressed as Lord Tirek and is well-versed in ancient history. Being from an ancient race himself, he grew up hearing stories of Grogar's infamous past.

The Unicorn King who once ruled the Crystal Empire and enslaved the Crystal Ponies. He is quadrupedal. He has a curved horn with a red gradient tip. His mane and tail are a shimmering, flowing pitch-black. He wears a red cape, a steel collar, hoof guards, and a crown. Arrogant and dignified, he is full of self-love and composure. He can summon black crystals from the ground and uses dark magic to fire hypnotic waves that turn his victims' eyes green, allowing him to control them. He is generally evil and haughty.

A ram known as the Father of Monsters. Using an ancient relic called Grogar's Bell, he can drain, store, and redistribute the magic of any living creature. He is quadrupedal. He has blue fur, navy horns, and a white mane and tail. He wears a red collar with a yellow bell. He was the first emperor who ruled ancient Equestria through fear. His pride in his power is sky-high, and he is a classic tyrannical despot who feels no guilt in enslaving others. He views his minions and allies strictly as tools, and is a cold-blooded leader who will ruthlessly pin failures or rebels against a wall with magic to threaten them. He is the one who gathered the villains; while evil, he is not petty, but rather commands them to unite with kingly dignity and maturity.
