Under a weathered wall, a small doll soaked in rainwater lay upside down.
The footsteps that were about to pass by indifferently came to a halt.
It caught the eye strangely enough.
After brushing off the dust and carefully picking it up, it turned out to be a small, palm-sized doll.
"...This looks like someone I know..."
The simply designed little doll was wearing jeans and a white T-shirt.
Then, without thinking, I slipped it into my pocket.
There was no particular reason, but it felt like a waste to leave it behind.
